The movie, which started on September 3, got 5.9 million views in its first week, making it rank No.
3 on Netflix's global non-English film chart. In the second week, Gandhari moved up to the top spot globally and saw its weekly views rise from 5.9 million to 9.6 million, which is an increase of more than 60 percent.
The second-week total also puts Gandhari ahead of several other Indian films on Netflix.
Its 9.6 million views are more than the 6.4 million second-week views that Jaane Jaan got, and also more than the numbers for Darlings in both its first and second weeks.
When comparing with non-Netflix Original Indian films, the numbers get even more impressive.
Dhurandhar, which had 7.6 million views in its first week on Netflix, had 8.2 million in its second week, according to the weekly data.Gandhari's 9.6 million views in its second week have now gone past that number as well.Netflix's Tudum had previously listed Dhurandhar's first-week views at 7.6 million.
With these second-week numbers, Gandhari has become one of the biggest Indian film hits on Netflix in 2026, with the latest stats showing Taapsee Pannu's action thriller among the most-watched Indian titles on the platform this year.
