Ranbir Kapoor opts out of Dhoom 4; YRF to recast for the iconic franchise

Ranbir Kapoor was supposed to take over the Dhoom franchise.He was supposed to play the main bad guy in Dhoom 4.But now, it seems like the plans are falling apart.According to reliable sources, Ranbir has decided not to be a part of the film anymore.

 Hungama, "Dhoom 4 was originally going to be directed by Ayan Mukerji, but after War 2, Aditya Chopra decided not to give the project to Ayan.

However, Ranbir was still part of the film and was waiting for final approval from Aditya Chopra."

After many discussions, Ranbir decided to leave the project.

"Ranbir is not doing Dhoom 4 anymore.He has started working with writers and directors to look for new projects.He wasn't happy with the script, which led to this decision and surprised everyone.Dhoom is one of India's biggest movie series, but for Ranbir, the story is the most important thing."

However, some trade sources have a different take on the project's status.

"The script for Dhoom 4 is still being worked on.No final casting has been decided yet," said multiple trade sources.

While some sources say no casting has been decided yet, others insist that Ranbir is no longer connected to the project and that YRF will have to look for new actors once the script is finalized.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is preparing for the release of Ramayana on Diwali, followed by Love & War on Republic Day.
