Arshad Warsi earns nearly Rs. 4 crores profit as he sells Mumbai commercial property for Rs. 6.25 crores: Report

 Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has made a big profit from selling a commercial property in Mumbai's popular Lokhandwala Complex.According to documents from a real estate data company called Liases Foras, the actor sold the unit for Rs.6.25 crores.This means he made an estimated profit of almost Rs.4 crores compared to the price he originally paid for the property.


The property is located in the Lokhandwala area of Andheri West and has a carpet area of 63.87 square metres, which is about 684 square feet.

It was bought by Umang Rajkumar Budhraja for Rs.6.25 crores.The sale was officially recorded with the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration on July 1, 2026.


The documents also show that the buyer paid Rs.37.50 lakhs in stamp duty to complete the purchase.Based on the transaction value and the size of the property, the price per square foot comes out to roughly Rs.91,400.This highlights how expensive commercial real estate is in one of Mumbai's top business and residential areas.


According to the firm's documents, Arshad Warsi originally bought the same shop in February 2012 for just over Rs.2.12 crores.At that time, he paid more than Rs.10 lakhs in stamp duty and Rs.30,000 for registration. With the recent sale, the value of the property has gone up a lot in the past 14 years, giving Arshad a big return on his investment.


In recent months, Mumbai's commercial real estate market has seen many high-value deals involving celebrities. Areas like Andheri West continue to attract a lot of attention from investors and business owners.
