Alpha Day 2 Evening Box Office update: Collects Rs. 6.64 cr. by 5 PM, grows 23%; Saturday headed towards Rs. 11.5 cr.

The movie Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, kept getting better at the box office on its second day.By 5 PM on Saturday, the YRF spy thriller had made about Rs.6.64 crores, which is an increase of around 23% compared to the first day during the same time.

After seeing morning show occupancy of about 9%, the film saw a good increase to around 18% during afternoon shows.
The momentum picked up more in the evening, with occupancy going up to about 21%.Night shows are expected to have occupancy of 22% or more.

In terms of collections, Maharashtra, NCR, and Karnataka were the top three states.
Maharashtra had about 17% occupancy, while NCR had a higher 25% occupancy.Karnataka followed with around 22%.At the city level, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi were the top contributors.Mumbai had about 20% occupancy, Bengaluru led with around 28%, and Delhi came close with about 27%.

The big multiplex chains kept contributing a lot to the film’s business.
PVR INOX and Cinepolis together made about Rs.4 crores, which is about 60% of Alpha’s total collections in the country.

Based on the trend so far and the expected performance of the evening and night shows, Alpha is on track to collect about Rs.
11.5 crores on Saturday.The film is expected to have good growth on Saturday, though the final total will depend on how many people book tickets during the night shows.
