After changing its release date a few times, the movie Alpha is finally coming to theaters this Friday.Originally, it was set for the Christmas weekend last year but was moved forward.The official reason was that the film needed more time in post-production and to find the right time to release.However, now it's coming out between two big comedy films, Welcome To The Jungle and Dhamaal 4.Even though there are other movies coming out around the same time, Alpha is getting the biggest release.It's also getting a good chance to shine.

Usually, these films get the biggest release and come out alone, with a big blockbuster showing.Movies like Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan proved that.Even later releases like Tiger 3 and War 2 also did well in India.Compared to that, Alpha is having a much smaller release, and there are two reasons for that.First, there has been a lot of negative talk about the spy universe, especially after War 2.Second, this movie is led by two female stars, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, which has its own challenges.

Because of this, for the first time ever, a big movie like this is arriving as an underdog.

People aren't expecting much from it, and if it can entertain even reasonably, it will surprise the audience.It's hoped that it does so so that the spy universe doesn't fade and we can see more Pathaan and Tiger movies.For now, the film is expected to open in the range of Rs.7-8 crores.If the content is good, there's a chance it could do well in the evening and even cross the 9 crores mark.
