Welcome To The Jungle Movie Review Synopsis:
"WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE" is the story of a movie team that gets into trouble.
Sinha (Zakir Hussain) is a rich man who gets a tip from a government insider, Ramprasad Udayvar (Brijendra Kala), that if the opposite party wins the next election, he will be sent to jail for financial fraud.Ramprasad tells him to make a movie that doesn’t make money to avoid getting caught. His trusted helper, Dubey (Johny Lever), suggests making a big failure movie by casting actors and directors who have no chance of making it a hit.So, Dev (Rajpal Yadav) and Das (Paresh Rawal) are asked to be directors, and Nainsukh (Shreyas Talpade) is the cinematographer.Rajiv Kohli (Akshay Kumar), an actor who hasn’t had much success, is cast as the lead.Dev and Das can't pay back their debt to the dangerous gangsters Romeo (Arshad Warsi) and Yeda Anna (Suniel Shetty). When the gangsters find out the director group is working on a movie, they tell them to hire them.Sinha’s daughter Jenny (Jacqueline Fernandez) and Rajiv’s ex-girlfriend Nadia (Disha Patani) are cast as actors.More people join in, like Rambo (Krushna Abhishek), Jumbo (Kiku Sharda), Rangwa (Mukesh Tiwari), Jagwa (Yashpal Sharma), and Daler (Daler Mehndi). They move to a hill area to shoot the movie. For the final shoot, they end up in a town called Azadganj, which is controlled by a brutal terrorist named Zatara (Jackie Shroff).Since the movie characters are playing Army officers, the villagers and the terrorists think they are real soldiers. The rest of the story follows from there.
Welcome To The Jungle Movie Story Review:
The story by late Neeraj Vora is wild and mixes a lot of different styles like a bhel puri (a spicy Indian street food).
The screenplay has some good parts but also some weak moments. The dialogues by Farhad Samji make the movie fun.
Ahmed Khan’s direction is big and he deserves credit for making this movie.
It wasn’t easy to make, not just because of the huge cast and the scale, but because it’s in the brainrot zone, where the madness has to be handled carefully. One mistake and the humor might not work.Thankfully, Ahmed does a good job. However, you should be warned that the movie doesn’t follow logic very much. The fact that the movie team doesn’t realize they are in a terror-controlled area adds to the chaos and weirdness.Another good thing is that several characters have unique personalities, like Nainsukh, Dubey, Badi Bi (Farida Jalal), Murad Chacha (Kiran Kumar), and others. These kinds of jokes are rare now because of social media, but the makers went for the bold and offensive humor.Since this type of comedy hasn’t been seen in a while, it might be very welcomed.Along with the humor, there is also a lot of action to keep people interested. And there are some surprise characters that will probably get big cheers.
On the downside, some of the movie parallels are too obvious and not creative.
For example, the mute girl scene reminds a lot of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN [2015].The scene of Zatara having fun in his hideout also feels like the 'FA9LA' track from DHURANDHAR [2025].The Lara Dutta scene is weak and weakens the first half a lot. Some characters seem out of place in the story and can be removed without affecting much. Also, some of the humor may not go over well with certain audiences, especially those who go to expensive theaters.

Welcome To The Jungle Movie Review Performances:
Akshay Kumar is at his best again.
He's excellent at comedy and also does well in action.Suniel Shetty and Arshad Warsi add a lot of chaos and fun.Disha Patani looks great and performs decently, although she has few lines.Jacqueline Fernandez plays a funny role and does it well.Johny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Shreyas Talpade are consistent as always.Jackie Shroff and Vindu Dara Singh (Ghoni) perform well as villains.Raveena Tandon (Zoya) leaves a strong impression.Lara Dutta (Teja) is disappointing.Farida Jalal and Kiran Kumar are the biggest surprises in the film.Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani (Abdullah), and Hemant Pandey (Kishan) are okay.Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Mukesh Tiwari, and Yashpal Sharma are wasted in their roles.Daler Mehndi does a bad job.Zakir Hussain is decent but gets forgotten later.Late Pankaj Dheer (Karan), Feroze Khan (Arjun), and Puneet Issar (Duryodhan) are entertaining.Urvashi Rautela (Dia), Sudesh Berry (Vikrant Singh), and Brijendra Kala are okay in small roles.Jeetu Verma (Dominic) makes an impression in a small role.Child actors Vrihi Kodvara (Urvi) and Bhagya Bhanushali (Bhagya) do well.Akshara Singh gives a real performance in the Bhojpuri song.
Welcome To The Jungle movie music and other technical aspects:
Among the songs, "Deewane Hain" is the best.
"Ghis Ghis Ghis" is likely to be popular, especially in rural areas."Ucha Lamba Kad Forever" comes next and is well filmed."Tera Paisa Mera Paisa" is at the end and is just okay. The placement of "Kyun" is unexpected and different from what we usually see in Hindi films.Hanif Shaikh's background score fits well with the story.
Kabir Lal's cinematography is really impressive.Abbas Ali Moghul's action scenes aren't too bloody, and no one is flying around; it feels real but also looks good on screen.FutureWorks' visual effects are not very good.Shailesh Mahadik's production design is just right. The costumes by Kunal Rawal, Anna Singh, Namita Alexander, Ami Patel, Sunakshi Rathod, Shakil Shetty, Priyanka Mundada, Harshita Ramchandani, Shahdab Malik, and Trupti Doifode are very stylish.Nitin FCP's editing could have been better, especially in the second part of the movie.
Welcome To The Jungle Movie Review Conclusion:
Overall, WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE is a wild, fast-paced comic movie that works because of its silly humor, big scale, exciting scenes, and surprising twists.
This film isn't for people who like smart stories or subtle messages. But its crazy energy and fun moments could make it a hit with a wide audience. At the box office, it has a good chance of becoming a hit for people looking for silly, entertaining fun.
