Sunny Deol fronts new Pan-India action thriller from top industry powerhouses

A new action thriller, supported by Excel Entertainment, has officially started filming, marking the first time producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss are working together with actor Sunny Deol. The movie, which hasn't been given a title yet, began shooting on Friday, February 27, 2026, and is currently in progress.

Jyotika is also part of the cast, playing a key role beside Sunny Deol.

 After the success of Border 2, Sunny has been spending his time during the summer of 2026 to finish this project.

The film is being directed by Balaji Ganesh, a filmmaker from Chennai who has previously worked as a co-director with A. R. Murugadoss.

 He has been involved in many story developments and big productions, and now he's taking the lead with his first feature film. The movie is being marketed as an exciting action thriller with a suspenseful storyline.

Several well-known names are behind the project.

 Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and A. R. Murugadoss are the producers, while Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Aditya Joshi, Sunnil Jain, and Yusuf Shaikh are the co-producers.

With a strong production team, an experienced lead actor, and a new director, the film is aiming to create a big action show while bringing a fresh way of telling stories in the action genre.
