Preity Mukhundhan to make her Bollywood debut in Naagzilla; only 7 days of shooting left for Kartik Aaryan’s fantasy comedy

Source has been sharing exciting news about one of the most anticipated movies of 2026, Naagzilla, which stars Kartik Aaryan. Now, we have another update to share – talented actress Preity Mukhundhan, who has been successful in the South film industry, is joining Bollywood with this upcoming film.

A source told , "Preity Mukhundhan fits the role perfectly, and the makers are really happy to have her on board.

 She will play a funny character, and her role is very important to the story. She is also excited about the role as it gives her a chance to show a new side of herself to the audience."

Preity made her debut in the 2024 Telugu horror comedy Om Bheem Bush, and later in her Tamil debut in Star.

Naagzilla is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain's Mahaveer Jain Films.

 The fantasy comedy stars Kartik as a shape-shifting snake and reportedly has Ravi Kishan playing the antagonist. This film marks the first collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Mahaveer Jain, Mahaveer Jain and Karan Johar, and it is the second film for Kartik and KJo after Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

Earlier, source reported that Naagzilla will have a three-week shoot in Delhi in February 2026.

 Our source has now shared an update, "The Delhi shoot has been completed successfully. Now, only 7 days of shooting are left, which will take place in Mumbai this month, that is, March 2026. Once the shoot wraps up, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba will focus completely on post-production and ensure that their hard work results in an exciting and fascinating movie for the audiences."

Naagzilla is planned to be released in cinemas on Independence Day 2026.
