A few weeks back, we reported exclusively that Sony Network had acquired the satellite, digital, and music rights for the film, showing how excited they are about the project. Now, we have another exciting update on Haiwaan.
According to reliable sources, the non-theatrical rights of Haiwaan have been sold for a huge amount of Rs. 80 crores.
A source told , "Haiwaan is in high demand in the market, with many companies trying to get it on their platforms. But the highest bid came from Sony Network, which offered Rs. 80 crores for the satellite, digital, and music rights. This means the team behind Haiwaan has already made back more than 70 percent of their money."
The same source added that the film might be released in August, and the official announcement is coming soon. "
The release date of Haiwaan will be planned carefully, as the makers want a clear window. It’s a high-concept thriller, and the team is determined not to release it during a busy time. The expected release is sometime in August."
Haiwaan is directed by Priyadarshan, produced by KVN Productions, and includes a special appearance by Mohanlal.
The Rs. 80 crore deal further boosts Akshay Kumar’s popularity in the market.
