Because of the threat, security at Ranveer Singh’s home, where he lives with Deepika Padukone, has been made stronger.
A letter shared online, which is said to be from the managing committee of the residential complex, says that six armed private guards and one uniformed police officer are now at the place. This setup was not there before.
The community has worried about the armed guards moving through shared areas like the lobby, gym, and children’s play area.
People living there have said they are uncomfortable and concerned about the presence of weapons in common spaces.
A letter sent on February 10 to the Dadar Police asks for answers on several things.
It wants to know if the private guards are allowed to carry licensed guns inside the complex, whether the police station gave permission for them to be there, and details about the police officer stationed at the flat, including which department they belong to and what their job is.
The police have not shared more about the message itself, and the investigation is still going on.
