Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar Part 1 expected to be 3 hours 32 minutes long; will be Bollywood’s LONGEST film since Jodhaa Akbar

Source has been leading the way in sharing the latest updates about the highly anticipated film, Dhurandhar.
We were the first to announce that the Ranveer Singh-starrer is a two-part story, which made a big impact in the industry. Before this news, we had already shared that the film is expected to be around three hours long. Now, source has learned that the first part of Dhurandhar will be longer than expected.

A source told , “The expected length of Dhurandhar Part 1 is around 3 hours and 32 minutes.
The exact run time has not been officially confirmed yet, but it is likely to be just under 3 and a half hours. The process of getting the censor certificate has started. Once the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gives its approval in a few days, the exact run time will be known.”

An insider told  “Dhurandhar has a very big story to tell, which is why it’s so long.
Director Aditya Dhar is a master at storytelling. Look at his previous work, like Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) or Article 370 (2024), Dhoom Dhaam (2025), and the recently released Baramulla (2025). He always makes sure that there is a lot happening in his films, and that the story doesn't feel dragged out. Dhurandhar will follow the same pattern. There will be so much going on that the audience will be fully engaged from the very beginning.”

If Dhurandhar has a run time of 3 hours and 32 minutes, it will be the longest Bollywood film since Jodhaa Akbar (2008).
The Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film was 3 hours and 34 minutes long.

In the past 25 years, there have been 24 Hindi films that are more than 3 hours long.
Dhurandhar will be the sixth longest Bollywood film since 2000, following LOC Kargil (2003; 4 hours and 7 minutes), Lagaan (2001; 3 hours and 44 minutes), Salaam-E-Ishq (2007; 3 hours and 36 minutes), Mohabbatein (2000; 3 hours and 35 minutes), and Jodhaa Akbar (2008; 3 hours and 34 minutes).
