Both films are very different from each other and are aimed at different kinds of audiences.
120 Bahadur is a war drama with a patriotic theme. It's led by Farhan Akhtar and has been promoted for months. Recently, its popularity has grown even more. It targets people who go to multiplexes. On the other hand, Mastiii 4 is more suited for single screen audiences, but there’s not many of those left now. Masti and Grand Masti did well, but Great Grand Masti didn’t. However, the makers hope to bring back the franchise and its genre with Mastiii 4.
Both films will rely heavily on word of mouth.
On the first day, Mastiii 4 might do slightly better in spot bookings. While we wait to see what happens on Saturday, expect a slow start on Friday, with both movies opening around Rs. 2-3 crores each.

De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office: Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh starrer has a fair first week
By Bollywood Hungama News Network Nov 21, 2025 - 4:24 pm IST
It was a decent first week for De De Pyaar De 2, with Rs. 49.90 crores collected.
That’s not surprising, as the weekend trends pointed to this range. The movie received mixed reviews, but the content was acceptable at best.
De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office: Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh starrer has a fair first week
Comparing this with the original De De Pyaar De, which was a more complete film, that one collected Rs. 61.05 crores in its first week, back in 2019 when the market was smaller, ticket prices were lower, and there were no mid-week offers.
However, that film had good word of mouth in urban areas and eventually crossed Rs. 100 crores. In the case of the sequel, with the gap in the first week and the many releases every week, it’s unlikely to reach that level.
Still, it might end up reaching around Rs. 75 crores, which would be better than Son Of Sardaar 2, which made Rs. 43 crores.
The film is in line with most romcoms released after the pandemic, and even recent films like Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Param Sundari. However, being a bigger film with a larger cast and bigger production, people might have higher expectations.
