Siddharth Nigam reveals he lost Azaad lead role to Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman: “It’s more of a personal realisation and pain”

The recent drama Azaad was the Bollywood debut of Aaman Devgan, the child of two stars, nephew of Ajay Devgn, and daughter Rasha Thadani, the daughter of actress Raveena Tandon. Actor Siddharth Nigam, known for his extensive television productions, announced that he was thought to lead the film before being replaced by Ahman Devgan.

Siddharth's mother Vibha Nigam shared insights about her casting experience in an instant, exclusive conversation with Bollywood. She explained: The film was good and I was happy as Siddharth had a strong start in Bollywood. I really loved the script.

However, when Azard was released without prior intimacy, their hopes were overthrown. She added: But all of a sudden Siddharth showed me an Azad poster and said, "Mama, it's published. These are the people in the film. Then we saw that the ne and Aaman from the film Ajay Devgns play a leading role. For the first time in my life I felt sick. When that kind of thing happens as a mother, it hurts. Then I realized that both stars' kids were and that it made a difference.

Siddharth realized the difficult reality of the film business. This is economic and industrial, so it's pointless to ask why you did it. You must have had your own reasons. It's more like personal knowledge and pain. If you think something will work, you will get your hopes. We waited a year and then watched the teaser. After we saw it, we just thought: »Ah, okay. The Dhoom 3 actor said:

Although Azaad did not work well commercially, the dance performance in Rashadani's song - Uyi Amma" was widely estimated. The film also included Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty in standout roles.
