Is Ed Sheeran making his Bollywood singing debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s King? Here’s what we know!

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he has recorded a Hindi track from the Shah Luke Khan film, which resolves the wave of speculation online. The Revelation came behind the scenes with a  video shared during the creation of his latest single Sapphire. There, the surprising cameo of the Bollywood superstar itself appeared.

The film's name has not been officially announced, but fans are sure King-Shah Rukh Khan's next big theatrical publication is in question. Although the project has been closed since its announcement, Sheeran's comments and the latest developments around Sapphire are now considered strong indicators of  deeper cooperation.

After Ed Sheeran posted a behind-the-scenes video on his YouTube channel, fans noticed a short segment in which he recorded the Punjabi version of his song "Sapphire" with Arijit Singh. The fan club later shared this clip on Instagram and waited for the full Punjabi version! Check out  BTS on the ED YouTube channel. Ed also mentioned the Hindi version. Now I don't know if the other versions are Hindi or Punjabi.

Ed Sheeran himself answered the post and cleared the confusion. He writes: “Hindi songs are for  Bollywood films performed by Shah Rukh Khan. This is the Punjabi version of Arijit sapphire. At the time I only do all languages.

It is worth noting that the appearance of Shah Rukh Khan at Saphire has already excited a considerable amount of money. The video also shows Indian rebirth singer Arijit Singh.

This is not the first brush of Sheeran with India. He recently got a Punjabi tattoo called "Neelam," which translates  "sapphire" in English. On his latest tour in India, Sheeran mentioned how much he enjoys the vibrancy of Indian music. And it will be growing chatter that will allow us to study more cooperation in Indian films in the future.

With Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji as well as others playing the leading role, King is currently the only Shah Luk Khan project actively produced in production. The film was billed as a gravel action drama and after OTT entry it was his theatrical debut  with Archies Suhanas.

Details regarding the Hindi song itself have been closed. It's unclear whether it's part of the King Soundtrack or even another single connected to the film's marketing campaign. Given the speculative nature of these developments, neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Siddharth Anand  officially confirmed the association. However, the timing of the song's recording, Sheeran's statement, and the photos from the Saphir-BTS video  seem to point in one direction.  While fans await official confirmation, the idea of a musical crossover from Sheeran-Khan continues to dominate the debate. If  speculation turns out to be true, this could be one of the most unique global cooperation Bollywood has seen in recent years.
