Star kids Ibrahim Ali Khan and Rasha Thadani are still quite popular on social media, even if their first films had mixed reviews. There is now a thrilling update for their fans: if rumors are to be believed, the two will appear together on screen for the first time in a future movie.
A source close to the production told Mid-Day that "Ibrahim and Rasha have been doing reading sessions and workshops." The producers made it clear that they wanted two actors who could capture the awkward, thrilling energy of first love, not just a gorgeous couple. Ibrahim and Rasha clicked right away when they first met. "Although he made his debut in a romantic comedy, Ibrahim will be featured in intense parts in Sarzameen and Diler, the latter of which features him as a marathoner," the insider continued. Following those two excursions, this movie's coming-of-age story will reveal a more vulnerable and approachable side of him.
This project would be Ibrahim's second attempt at a romantic genre, if confirmed. His first movie was a romantic comedy called Naadanaiyaan, which was made available on Netflix immediately. Critics, however, gave his performance a mixed to poor review, pointing up problems with his dubbing, dialogue delivery, and facial expressions.
Rasha's first appearance, however, was in the movie Azaad, which also featured Ajay Devgn's nephew, Aaman Devgn. Despite the film's poor box office result, viewers enjoyed Rasha's performance.
Seeing Ibrahim and Rasha collaborate on a romance drama would undoubtedly be intriguing. Neither the actors nor the producers have yet to formally confirm or deny this. Until an official announcement is made, fans will have to wait.
