Housefull 5: Choreographer Remo D’Souza faces dance plagiarism allegations from content creator over the song ‘Laal Pari’

The choreographer and creator of digital content, Sandip Brahamin publicly denounced Housefull 5 choreographer Reque Dâsouza, and copied one of his typical dance moves for the film song. The claim was raised by an Instagram video recently shared by Sandip, which again illuminated the debate about creative plagiarism in the entertainment industry.

About a month before the song was released, Sandip cried out the choreographer as he copied the original step without attribution. In the video, he spoke explicitly about the similarity of the movements of Lal Paris with one of his old dance clips. He said on the video: They all saw my signature move. My moves were copied with Housefull 5 songs, Laal Pari. Many of my friends did me on Instagram. So I was featured again on Instagram and YouTube. They did not mention me or give me any recognition. I don't know what will happen.

The video also included a commercial comparison of major actors Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and ritual Deshmukh, which were recorded, followed by film material from Sandip, who claimed to be the original choreography. The similarity of movement has led many online viewers to question whether the creative team should be working behind the film Sandip.

In the meantime, Housefull 5 created waves at the box office. It was published on June 6th and is the fifth film in the successful Housefull franchise. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan, the 2025 Hindi-Language Comedy Thriller Features A Massive Ensemble Cast Including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajiwa and more. Surprisingly, the film has featured different highlights in two versions of Housefull 5a and Housefull 5b. Remo Dâ Souza has not yet responded to the allegations, but the controversy contributes to the amount in connection with Laal Pari, which has been popular since the film was published. Whether the production team gets caught up in trouble or not, that's not yet known, but Sandip Brahamin's post sparked debate over the importance of recognizing content makers in mainstream media.
