Housefull 5 Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar's comedy drama fails to surpass Chhaava, Raid 2 opening morning occupancy

Akshay Kumar returns to Housefull 5, the comedy drama that recently came to the cinema. The film in particular shows a large star cast, but did not impress the audience. 

In the Advance Box Office collection, a decent collection along with morning theater occupancy was not to beat Raid 2 and Chhaava Records.

According to Sacnilk, Housefull 5 began with a morning occupancy of 13.62% in India. The numbers are decent, but the film didn't match the popularity of large Bollywood publications such as Chaava, Raid 2, Sikandar, and even Kumar behind Badass. Vicky Kaushals made Chava with the best Bollywood movies of 2025, 30.5% in theory in theaters, and the best Bollywood movie of 2025, but Raid 2 followed that trend, opening at 21.23%, followed by Badass Ravi Kumar with a morning occupancy of 13.76%. 

Surprisingly, the most anticipated rating for the Housefull franchise was almost 55% lower in approvals, winning the top five on the top 10 list. 

In particular, Kesari is occupied by the first day of Housefull 5 business day 5, Kesari, Kesari, Chapter 2 (12.67%), Fate (10.6%), Skyforce (10.26%), Game Changer (9.10%), and Emergency (5.98%). 

In the meantime, Housefull 5 also includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Nana Patekar, Johnny Lever, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shryas Talpade, Jackie Shroff, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh and Sonam Bajwa. 

The murder mystery comedy revolves around several con artists who claim to be the son of a recently deceased billionaire fighting for his assets on a gorgeous cruise ship.
