CBFC proposes, Aamir Khan disposes – Sitaare Zameen Par’s censor process stalled over two cuts

The Sitaare Zamen PA is not even a week before publication and is always in the news. His extensive advertising campaign, and his decision not to sell the film to the OTT platform due to Aamir Khan's theme. The film was submitted to the Central Film Certification Committee (CBFC) and Bollywood Hungama knows that there are several cuts in the film.

Sitaare Zameen PA producer Aamir Khan disagreed with these cuts.

Bollywood Hungama told the source: He and director R S Prasanna thought of the film with a lot in mind. The specific scenes and dialogue seem to be perfectly appropriate in context. However, the source does not have knowledge about reducing demand through CBFCs.

The source continued. “Aamir Khan, who did not accept the cuts, had no censorship certificate awarded to Sitar Zamien Pah. Aamir is currently planning to meet with the CBFC Examination Committee on Monday to issue the position. As soon as this is done, advance reservations for the movie will be cancelled. According to rules, cinemas cannot sell tickets without a certificate of censorship.

Interestingly, the Sitaare Zameen Par was adopted by the UK Censorship Board with a 12A certificate. The BBFC website mentioned that the film contained "discrimination and moderate sex references." He also states that the film will last 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Sitaare Zameen Par also performed by Genelia Deshmukh and published in cinemas around the world on June 20th. In the past, the plan was to give films a highly strategic publication: a controlled number of shows and a gradually increasing demonstration based on the words of words. However, reports show that due to the demands of the exhibition sector, there is the latest development in which the film will be published on 3,000-3,500 screens.
