Ayushmann Khurrana gets invited to join The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

Bollywood actor Ayushman Kurana has been invited to join the Academy of Arts and Sciences (AMPA), the organization behind Oscar. Khurrana's work is known for his socially relevant and unconventional film decisions, and has a consistent focus on breaking cinematic stereotypes.

This year, the academy invited a diverse group of artists and experts from around the world to recognize its important contributions to film. Khurrana competes with international invitation lists such as Gillian Anderson, Ariana Grande, Kamal Haasan, Mikey Madison, Jeremy Strong, and Kieran Culkin.

Khurrana's work is also attracting global attention. He was the most influential person in the Time Magazine, the Time 100 world, and was later recognized twice at the 2023 Time100 Impact Award.
