Salman Khan faces backlash over ‘Ceasefire’ tweet; deletes post

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was in the midst of a social media storm after he released a brief comment on the Indian-Pakistan weapons arrest, released by President Donald Trump on Saturday evening. The actor was remarkably silent about Pahargam's terrorist attacks in Pahargam's terrorist attacks shortly after the announcement. However, the tweet elicited sharp criticism from internet users and forced Khan to immediately delete the post.

Over the past few days, several prominent Bollywood celebrities have opened up support for the Indian army and declared terrorist attacks in the Pahargam region of Jammu and Kashmir. Operation Sindore, India's retaliation strike against the terrorist hub, was widely used by actors, filmmakers and citizens. However, Salman Khan has commented on the efforts of the Indian military and the situation of unstable boundaries and is subordinate to publish instead. The actor's final contribution on the incident came when he recorded the meaning of Agriculture Dol after the first terrorist attack in Pahargam.

Salman Khan opposes the ceasefire. Delete the post

His tweets after the ceasefire were considered poorly coordinated and insensitive by many. Social media users called him quickly because he ignored the Indian soldiers' casualties, but decided only after a diplomatic ceasefire. When the counter response was intensified, Salman Khan quietly tweeted without providing some clarification.

While many celebrities continue to be in solidarity with the country's military, Salman Khan's short and ultimately deleted message refocused on an era of national conflict and the consequences of silence, when it matters most.

In a worrying development, the report suggests that Pakistan violated the armistice within hours of its release. Citizens were furious and disappointed by the violation of trust as new attacks were reportedly carried out in certain Indian regions on Saturday night.
