The Supreme Court in Delhi has a preliminary order in a copyright case with the well-known musical composer A.R. Maker of Rahman and Tamil movie Pony-in-Selvan. The conflict revolves around the film song "Veera Raja Veera." This should be contrary to the original compositions of "Shiva Stuti" and the late Dagar Brüder N Faiyazuddin and Ustad Zahiruddin N Faiyazuddin and Ustad Zahiruddin.
The divisional banks of C Hari Shankar Justices and Ajay Digpaul, which remained the former reserve directives of the only judge, have ordered Rahman and producers of the films Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions to submit Rs. $2 trillion in the court register within 10 days. This amount will be held in a static down payment until the case reaches a final judgment. The incident was launched by Ustad Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar, the son and nephew of the original composer. He alleged that -Veera Raja Veera had repeated the work illegally without consent or loan.
In the previous intermediate order, only judge discovered that the music essence of "Veera Raja Veera" was not only inspired, but also inspired by "Shiva Stuti". The order also provided that the film would be inserted into all OTT and online versions of Ponniyin Selvan 2 in order to recognize the original artist. The family of the petitioner was awarded a fee of 2 Rs. The court had admitted to a clear case of copyright infringement, but Rahman's lawyers argued that Shiva Stutti is part of the publicly accessible dhrrupad tradition. They argued that the composition lacked sufficient originality to protect it in accordance with copyright laws.
The bank found that the unadministered preliminary protection of disastrous damage to the legacy of the original composer who no longer lives has discovered the moral rights of the original composer who no longer lives. However, the question lies under the judiciary, and the final result determines whether copyright infringement actually occurred.
