Akshay Kumar to play villain opposite Saif Ali Khan in Priyadarshan’s Oppam remake

In Bollywood's recent history, Akshay Kumar promises a dark change in Priyadalhan in his recent Bollywood story to Saif Ali Khan. The source first reported on Akshay Kumar, who joined Oppam's occupation of Hindi remake, but now there will be an exclusive update on the role of the superstar, which will surprise fans. 

According to well-placed industry insiders, Akshay Kumar plays the villain in this thriller. While Saif Ali Khan takes over the leading role, it becomes Akshay, poured into a threatening avatar. The film is essentially a struggle between Akshay and Saif, and they oppose each other. It will be an attractive and intensive watch," Source revealed. 

This is a rare starting point from Akshay Kumar, famous for his heroic twists in action packing dramas and comedy. His decision to play an antagonist in the Priyadarshan thriller gives a new dimension to both his career and film expectations. 

Known for developing some of the most memorable comedies and dramas of Indian cinema, Priyadarshan unites with Akshay in a few years. The duo gave a beloved hit to audiences like Hera Ferri, Bourg Bryya and Garam Masala. However, this cooperation will become a darker, psychological realm as it adapts Mohanlal's recognized Malayalam film Opam for Hindi audiences. 

The film is scheduled to go to the floor from the start in August 2025 with a finishing schedule and is aiming to be published in the second half of 2026.  

While fans prepare for this unexpected turn of casting, Saif Akshay Dynamics, reinforced by the Priyadarshan trademark, redefines Bollywood's thriller entertainment
