Shaurya’s director Samar Khan BREAKS silence on Kay Kay Menon’s scene going viral after Pahalgam terror attack: “Even Shah Rukh Khan’s Darr character is seen as hero by some people; once you take a scene out of context, anybody can seem like a hero or a villain”

The Pahargam terrorist attacks that took place on April 22nd brought waves of anger across the country. This incident led to a scene from the 2008 film, Shame, going viral. When Brigadier General Rudra Pratap Singh gave a hard speech, it shows Kay Kay Menon. It is the antagonists who shock the characters, essentially retaining hate speech. However, some of the audience always looked at him from a positive perspective, and after the episode of Pahangam, his respect was raised by many notches. However, some internet users are unhappy with the development. This is because Brigadier General Rudra Pratap Singh's view is very problematic. 

Shaurya's director Samar Khan said only what he has to say about this aspect. He began to say: Even the Dah character of Shah Luk Khan (1993) is considered heroes by some. You can't control it. So you just let it do. 

When asked when Brigadier Rudra Pratap became a hero after Internet user, he replied: »I don't know. Social media has its own spirit. It has a way of looking at things in his own way. So I don't know when or how that happened. Everything taken from the context sounds different. That happened in this particular scene. It was taken from the context. You have to see what happens before the scene in question and what happens after the scene in question. 

Samar Khan continued. As soon as you take it out of context, everyone can look like a hero or a villain. You have to look at the total. Scenes do not define the film. To answer your question, I don't even remember when it happened. It just happened. People on social media take it and they suddenly use the word "virus." There's no logic! 

Interestingly, Summer Khan's debut film Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye (2005) completed 20 years on April 15th. Feelings - In the Good film, Arshad Warsi and Mahima Chaudhry were seen, and no one else showed off a beautiful cameo as superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye and Shaurya are Samar's only theatrical films. When asked when he saw him again as a film director, he smiled and replied: I know that was a while back. If I'm inspired to do something, I'll do it. Until then, I will continue to be the producer of the shows I created. 

What is Shaurya? 

Shaurya is loosely based on Kult -Hollywood Film a Some Good Men (1992) along with Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore. It tells the story of Major Siddhan Chaudhary (Rahul Bose). He was assigned to the lawsuit by Captain Jabd Khan (Deepak Dobryal), who was accused of shooting and death of Major Virendra Singh Ratore (Pankaji Tripathi). While Siddhan is conducting his investigation, it will soon be revealed that Jabed killed Major to save innocent people from the massacre. 

The highlights show the viral speech of Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh. There, he revealed his personal trauma and ideological prejudice, influenced his actions, leading to the illegal persecution of Havedo. After the speech, Javed is highly declared and Rudra Pratap is guilty. Siddhanth also returns Rudra Pratap Singh about his views on a particular community after the verdict is issued. The film also played Minisha Ramba and Javed Jaafelli.
