The rogue is a gentle explanation. You were red hot, the devil was born in Maidan. 

(laughs) Okay, I'll accept that. Then  I played a rather evil character in Test after Mayan. And now you see me as an antagonist in Kesari 2. 

So, is it a new career in villain, or is it a top-class man too? No no. This was just a stage I really enjoyed. The Grey Trilogy by Shah Rukh Khan: Darr, Baazigar,  Anjaam?  If you say that. But if you listen to me, I will tell you one thing... 

I'm all about ears. 

Appearing in grey or black  was a challenge. I consider myself  a good person in real life. These three films gave me the opportunity to explore the dark side of my personality. In real life, I  never dared to do what my characters did with Maidaan, Test, or Kesari 2. 

What was your first experience  working with Karan Johar? Ah, I just can't believe it! Karan is one of the most passionate producers I have ever worked for. His commitment to bringing his films to  screen with as few bumps as possible is exemplary. Kesari 2 turns out to be a very special film. Cooperation with Karan and Akshay Kumar was a dream. 

So are you ready to do bad things for the time being? Yes, in my next film, I've returned to  my usual sweetness. Come and remember that you were the villain of your Hindi-debüt-debüt, Rahna hai tere Dil Mine. 

Yes, Prem villain! (laughs) Joke aside, most people have  both black and white tones. The same goes for movies. Even my character in Banegi Apni Bad from my first big TV series  was not a saint. 

This is her 29th year in the drama business. How do you feel about that? I've never treated it like  business. It's always Joyley for me. Regardless of the language, I love standing in front of the camera. I think there's a lot more to me.
