No Deepika Padukone in King with Shah Rukh Khan; Siddharth Anand in talks with Sonam Bajwa

Over the past three days there has been a lot of noise around Shah Luk Khan's next film, King, Siddharth Anand. The infamous report found that Deepika Padukone would expand on the cameo in an action thriller, but director Siddharth Anand published his theory on social media, calling it a "fake" message. We spoke to sources who confirmed that Deepika Padukone was not part of the king. This is because Aditya Chopra currently wants to consider Pataan 2 only. 

But we still have even more exciting information. Our highly placed source confirms that Siddharth Anand and Shah Lukh Khan Sonam Bajiwa played an important role in the King. "Sonam is a Punjabi superstar and is due to make his debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Koenig. The actress has made several films that go from Houseful 5 to Bagi 4 and more, and King will be the best so far." 

Sources also announced that Sonam Bajwa will extend his cameo appearance in the King, but the exact character dynamics will remain under the lock and key for the time being. King is scheduled to go to the floor in June 2025 with his Indian schedule. The film also plays Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in major roles.
