Love And War likely to avoid clash with Toxic; Sanjay Leela Bhansali production runs behind planned schedule

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has gathered some of the most talented actors of Indian cinema, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhat. The film was announced for the publication of Eid 2026, but Bollywood Hungama received Intel only. The Loveand War will no longer be published on Eid 2026 and have deviated from each other in Yash -Starer -Toxic. 

Trade sources informed Bollywood Hungama of the anonymity that love and war were officially delayed compared to dates already announced in March 2026. The film should be completed by November 2025, but according to the latest Chalk Plan, SLB hopes to close the film by February 2026. The new publication date for Love and War will be mid-2026, a source of trade shared by Bollywood Hungama. 

Reports say budget issues have caused delays in schedules. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has funded the film and revised its budget to ensure it is compliant with deadlines. It's a time movie and requires the right cost to make things work. SLB has now raised the necessary funds and resumed filming without delaying two months," the trade source continues. A call for a new publication date for Love and War will soon be raised, but the film will likely be a mid-2026 publication.
