CID: Parth Samthaan reveals ‘it’s a big responsibility’ as he takes over as the new ACP, following the exit of Shivaji Satam

For decades, the legendary crime drama CID, a staple food on Indian television, has been a major transformation. With a recent shift to the OTT platform, the show has said goodbye to one of the most popular characters, ACP Pradyuman, portrayed by experienced actor Shivaji Satam. Stepping into this legendary role, Alpine with a fresh identity, is Casauti Zindagii Kay 2's fame Perth Velvettern.

Shivaji had previously refused to recognize Satham's casting changes, but that confirmation came directly from Perth Saturn, even when he appeared in Saasbahu Aurbetyan. Perth broke the silence on the issue, opening up excitement and pressure. »Iconic Show Hai Joe Chala Araha Hai (This is an iconic show run) Sony Entertainment Television Par. I thought when I discussed it with my family. But when I told them I took it seriously they were very proud. According to ACP Pradyuman, it is actually a huge responsibility to fill such a shoe as I replace it as ACP Ayushmann. It's a new character and a new story. Drive the story with new thrills and tensions. I didn't think I would be part of such a collaboration. This is a cross collection for me... I'm happy to be part of the iconic show, he said.

Perth also revealed that dramatic acts by ACP Pradyuman will be seen next season. »Jab Mujhe called Aaya Iske Baare (when I got a call about it) and I was in two minds, whether or not I should do it. But yes, if you considered the inheritance of the show, it was clearly an honor. ACP Pradyuman gets killed in the show. Maybe it's murder. To resolve the case, a new ACP was appointed by this agency as ACP Ayushmann. I will play this role. This is a huge responsibility," he added.

Perth was determined by certain details, but he confirmed that his character did not reflect ACP Pradyuman. Instead, ACP Ayushmann will lead the charges in investigating Pradyuman's death.

With this new direction, CID is ready to reinvent itself for its digital audience. It is still unknown whether fans will accept shifts, but one thing is certain - inheritance will continue
