Anurag Kashyap REACTS with a sarcastic comment as Phule faces censorship over caste references after Dhadak 2

The publication of the highly anticipated biopic Phule, based on the life and legacy of social reformers Jyotirao and Savitribai Puru, has reportedly been postponed. This delay follows the suspected requirements of the Central Film Commission (CBFC) to remove or modify references to the caste of the film. 

 

 Anurag Kashyaps catastrophic reaction 

 The first in the film industry was director Anurag Kashyap, known for his outstanding views. The ironically permeated statement aims to a narrative that the caste of Indian society is no longer relevant or widespread. 

Phule aims to demonstrate the revolutionary work of Jyotirao and Savitribai Phule. The alleged objection to the content related to Box is interpreted as an attempt to water the film's core message. It will be featured in the cinema on April 25th. It was supposed to be released on April 11th, but was promoted due to suspicions of objection to the Brahmin community. 

Dhadak 2 faces difficulties in ensuring CBFC certification based on box-related topics 

Readers may remember Bollywood Hungama reported that Dhadak 2 of the Central Film Commission (CBFC) was stuck. According to sources, "Dhadak 2 has a box issue and should be a shocking story. The CBFC's Jury Board (EC) welcomed the makers of such films.
