Stree 3, Bhediya 2, Thama, and other five films of Maddock’s horror-comedy universe get release dates; deets inside

 
Producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films has announced an ambitious plan to release eight films in theatres from its much-anticipated Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). The program promises an exciting mix of laughs, scares and goosebumps, with each film delivering a unique story that will captivate audiences. Here is the complete release schedule from 2025 to 2028.

2025: A double treat at the end of the year 
Tama: The film, which is set to light up theatres during Diwali 2025, is expected to create a cosmic stir. 
Shakti Shalini: The Film will close out the year with a supernatural spectacle and is scheduled to hit theatres on December 31, 2025. 
2026: Horror Meets Comedy 
Bhediya 2: The highly-anticipated sequel to Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan, is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14, 2026 and promises to be another thrilling journey. Chamunda: A mysterious and eerie addition to the universe. Set to release on December 4, 2026. 

 2027: A fan favourite returns 
 
Stree 3: The third installment of the cult-status Stree series will hit the screens on August 13, 2027. 

 Maha Munja: An epic genre clash, this film is set to hit theatres on December 24, 2027. 

 2028: The climax of the story 

 Pehra Mahayudh: The first part of what looks to be an epic conclusion to MHCU will hit theatres on August 11, 2028. 

 Dusara Mahayudh: The final chapter of this universe will enchant audiences on October 11, 2028. Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films is carving out a niche for itself in the Indian film industry with this genre-bending horror comedy.
