Singham Again vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 show sharing war heats up: T Series approaches Competition Commission of India; alleges arm-twisting of exhibitors by makers of Ajay Devgn starrer

Singham Again vs. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be the biggest box office battle of the year in less than ten days. The conflict over show sharing has proven to be extremely contentious, as was anticipated. T-Series, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, have filed a complaint with the Competition Commission of India, claiming that Singham Again makers have engaged in unfair business practices. This is a significant development.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Singham Again is dispersed by PVR Pictures and thus, over 60% of the shows in PVR Inox will be distributed to it. In addition, they have informed some single-screen theaters that they want all of the shows for their movie. They have allowed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to be shown on some single screens, but only one show of the horror comedy, and that show must be in the early morning slot.

"T Series decided to approach the Competition Commission of India," the source continued. Their interest is that the two movies ought to get half show sharing."

It's interesting to note that Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn, who was also the one who approached the Competition Commission of India in a similar manner in 2012 when his film Son Of Sardaar didn't get enough theaters in time to compete with Jab Tak Hai Jaan on Diwali.

Singham Again also features Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. In addition to Ajay Devgn, the film also features Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Vidya Balan star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. On Diwali, or November 1, both films are released.
