Shanaya Kapoor lands dream debut opposite Vikrant Massey in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan: Reportl

Shanaya Kapoor, an aspiring actress, is finally going to see her Bollywood dreams come true. In a new romantic drama titled Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, the 24-year-old daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor has been cast as the female lead. She will star alongside Vikrant Massey in the Hindi-language debut. The beloved Ruskin Bond short story serves as the basis for the movie.

Peeping Moon's report says that Kapoor and Massey, playing a passionate theatre actress and a talented blind musician, will center the story. In a touching tale of love and self-discovery with unexpected turns and profound themes, their paths cross. Compassion, resiliency, independence, desire, and self-belief are just a few of the concepts that the film explores as it delves into the complexities of human connection. The characters' emotional journey will be further enhanced by a beautiful musical backdrop.

Santosh Singh, who is best known for his work on web series like Broken But Beautiful and Apharan, is in charge of the project. Niranjan Iyenger, who is well-known for his work on films like My Name Is Khan and Ra, adapted the screenplay. One. The film was originally going to be directed by Iyenger, but Singh's extensive experience handling stories of a similar nature eventually led to the change in director.

Mini Films' Mansi and Varun Bagla are thrilled to bring this tale to life. After the 2022 Forensic remake, this is their second collaboration with Vikrant Massey.

The title itself is a nod to the song from Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's classic 1999 musical romance Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Kapoor isn't the first actor Kapoor has worked with. She will star alongside the legendary Mohanlal in the epic Telugu-Malayalam action film Vrushabha next year.

Mussoorie, a picturesque hill station, is where Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan is expected to begin filming later this month. For various sequences, the production will also relocate to Mumbai and Europe. A theatrical release is anticipated for the middle of the year 2205.

In the mean time, Vikrant Massey is as of now charmed in going for producer Rajkumar Hirani's most memorable web series for Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, he will soon begin advertising his upcoming film, The Sabarmati Report, which will open in theaters in November.
