Readers are aware that, just a few days before the film's release, the entire team, including producer Karan Johar, is busy promoting the action comedy. Vasan Bala opened up about how everything came together during an interview with Tried & Refused Productions, where the actors, director, and producer talked about the movie. The filmmaker recalled the beginning of this journey and revealed that he had sent a rough draft to Karan Johar because the latter was interested in working with him after Monica O My Darling. However, Bala maintained that he was unaware that KJo would forward the draft to Alia Bhatt.
According to Vasan's confession, "I had written a very kachha pakka email, stream of consciousness thoughts... sent it to Karan and 6-7 hours later, he called saying that I have already sent it to Alia and I was really not happy with it." Vasan also admitted that he had sent the email to Alia. Before sending it to the actress, the filmmaker thought he should have at least made some minor adjustments. That email was sent, and I asked Karan, "Why did you do this?" I was like, "I would have at least done some spell check, grammar check, and hygiene, and written some very nice hero entry." He responded, "No, this is not how it works." Then he said, "We'll meet in a few days," he continued.
Jigra, which marks the theatrical debut of Vedang Raina, stars Alia Bhatt as a fierce and protective sister who would do anything to save her brother from incarceration. The movie is expected to come out on October 11th.
