The story of a lavish wedding that fails is told in THE PERFECT COUPLE. The middle son of Greer Garrison Winbury (Nicole Kidman) and Tag Winbury (Liev Schreiber) and Benji Winbury (Billy Howle) is getting married to Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson) in the sleepy beach town of Nantucket on their family estate. Benji's older brother Thomas Winbury (Jack Reynor), Thomas's pregnant wife Abby (Dakota Fanning), Benji's younger brother Will Winbury (Sam Nivola), and friends Isabel Nallet (Isabelle Adjani) and Shooter Dival (Ishaan Khatter) are among the family members who appear alongside them. Amelia's best friend and maid of honor, Merritt Monaco (Meghann Fahy), and Amelia's parents, Bruce Sacks (Michael McGrady) and Karen Sacks (Dendrie Taylor), also attend the wedding. The Winburys and other guests have a wonderful time at the rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding. A death occurs on the same night, forcing the wedding to be postponed. Chief of police Detective Nikki Henry (Donna Lynne Champlin) and Dan Carter (Michael Beach) arrive at the Winbury estate to determine who died, why, and whether or not there was any wrongdoing. The remainder of the series is shaped by what occurs next.

Review of The Perfect Couple:
The book of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand serves as the basis for THE PERFECT COUPLE. Due to the numerous murder mystery films and television series that are based on the same concept, the template is somewhat archaic. However, the novel setting and background narratives enhance the impact. The screenplay, written by Jenna Lamia, Bryan M. Holdman, Leila Cohan, Courtney Grace, Evelyn Yves, and Alex Berger, is well-paced, engaging, and layered. The dialogues are conversational and straightforward.

The direction by Susanne Bier is neat. The basic premise is familiar: a murder takes place, and the suspects are filthy, wealthy individuals with dark secrets. But the way Susanne is put to death and how she gradually opens the story will keep people interested. She doesn't reveal any plot points at once from the beginning to the end. We learn that there has been a murder in the first episode, but the director takes some time to figure out who died! This raises the value of engagement. Additionally, the episodes came to an unexpected conclusion, with viewers focusing on a new suspect. Additionally, the show has a touch of humor, particularly in the interrogation scenes, which adds a nice touch.

On the other hand, the show still adheres to a formula despite the producers' efforts to add novelty. Although the pace is fine, there are some scenes that drag. The fact that each and every character had dark secrets that could destroy their family and those around them is baffling. Additionally, some of the characters' actions lack conviction. Additionally, it might take some time for the audience to comprehend the killer's motive; The creators don't explain it, and they expect the audience to connect the dots.

Performances by The Perfect Couple:
As was to be expected, Nicole Kidman is, to put it mildly, excellent. The show benefits from her presence and star status. Ishaan Khatter looks great and plays a crucial role. On screen, he has never been more enticing, and his performance is exceptional. He would gain worldwide fame and a large following from the show. Eve Hewson shines, effortlessly tackling a challenging role. Liev Schreiber moves easily. Both Donna Lynne Champlin and Michael Beach make a big impression, and their scenes are both funny and dramatic. The presence of Meghann Fahy and Dakota Fanning is felt. Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, and Billy Howle provide able assistance. Dendrie Taylor and Michael McGrady are fine. Isabelle Adjani, Irina Dubova (Gosia), Adina Porter (Enid), and the actor who plays Graham are the other people who do well.

Music and other technical aspects of The Perfect Couple:
The music by Trevor Gureckis is useful, and the opening title track and its imagery are impressive. The cinematography by Shane Hurlbut and Roberto de Angelis is stunning. Because of their camerawork, watchers will get a longing to visit this pleasant town. Because all of the characters are so incredibly wealthy, Signe Sejlund's costumes are both glamorous and regal. The production design of Sarah Knowles is the same. The editing by Sam Williams is decent, but it could have been better in some places.

The conclusion of The Perfect Couple:
Although THE PERFECT COUPLE is formulaic as a whole, its performances, characters, and execution manage to entertain and engage audiences. Ishaan Khatter playing such an important role will please Indian viewers especially.
