Anil Kapoor exits Housefull 5 over fee issue: Report

The return of the iconic couple Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar in Housefull 5 thrilled fans of the laugh-a-minute Housefull series. However, a recent Mid-Day report suggests that the cast might change.

The report says that Anil Kapoor has left the movie because he didn't like how much he was paid by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The makers have reworked Nana Patekar's role due to this unexpected casting change, as their comedic bond was a central part of the script.

Having said that, it's important to mention that Bollywood Hungama regularly posts exclusive information about Housefull 5. We recently reported that Arjun Rampal has joined the upcoming film's main cast. Arjun Rampal returns to the Housefull franchise after 14 long years, playing a brother. It's one more significant yet interesting person for Rampal and he is eager to come on board the film. According to a source, "He jumped on the opportunity and agreed to come on board the film when Sajid Nadiadwala approached him with the idea of Housefull 5."

Regarding the movie, it is said that each character from the previous installment will play a different role. The film, which takes place on a cruise ship, opens in August 2024 and has a packed UK schedule.
