Veteran entertainer Jagdeep, broadly referred to for his job as Soorma Bhopali in Sholay, has died at 81 years old. The news was affirmed late night on July 8. Bollywood famous people are paying tribute to the on-screen character.
Jagdeep started his profession in films as a youngster craftsman extra in B. R. Chopra's Afsana. He, at that point, featured in numerous movies Ab Dilli Door Nahin, K. A. Abbas' Munna, Guru Dutt's Aar Paar, Bimal Roy's Do Bigha Zamin and AVM's Hum Panchi Ek Dal Ke. After Hum Panchi Ek Dal Ke, he got enormous acclaim for his exhibition.
He played Soorma Bhopali in Sholay (1975), Machchar in Purana Mandir (1984), Salman Khan's dad in Andaz Apna (1994).
Jagdeep was made due by Bollywood entertainer Jaaved Jaaferi and Television Producer/Director Naved Jafri, his little girl Muskaan Jafri from his second spouse Nazima.
