Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi will receive special tributes at New York Indian Film Festival

Two of the notable performing artists of Indian silver screen, Sridevi and Shashi Kapoor, passed away inside a traverse of couple of months. While Shashi Kapoor passed away in December 2017, Sridevi passed away in the long stretch of February 2018. Presently, the veteran on-screen characters will get tributes at the New York Indian Film Festival which will unfurl from May 7 to May 12.

Shashi Kapoor, who had featured in a few Merchant-Ivory movies, for example, The Householder, will be paid tribute through two of his film screenings-Shakespeare Wallah and Heat and Dust. If there should be an occurrence of Sridevi, her 2012 superhit film English Vinglish will be screened. She will be respected at the screening.
