Chennai Express Sets The Box-office on Fire
Chennai Express opened on its 1st Friday good at the Domestic Box Office. The film on its opening day alone has earned 33.10 crores. Thursday made over 5.25 crores overseas and according to early estimates on Saturday, the film made a business of over 13 crores at the Overseas Box Office. Chennai Express box office collection on day2 is Rs.28.05 crore. Chennai Express collected around 67.92 cr for three days (Thursday previews were around 6.75 cr).
Saturday updated the circuit-wise breakup of the collections - Mumbai Rs.9.30 crore, Delhi and UP Rs.5.40 crore, Punjab Rs.1.96 crore, CP Berar Rs.1.40 crore, CI Rs.93 lakh, Rajasthan Rs.1.52 crore, Nizam Rs.2.02 crore, Mysore Rs.1.95 crore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala Rs.1.10 crore, West Bengal Rs.1.42 crore, Bihar Rs.63 lakh, Assam Rs.18 lakh and Orissa Rs.25 lakh.
