Housefull 2 Opens to a Fabulous Response at Box Office

Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 2, which has big stars like Akshay, Asin, John, Jacqueline and Ritesh in the leads, has registered, took a good first day, raking in about Rs 137.5 million (Rs 13.75 crores) net in collections.

The majority business came from multiplexes theaters in North India and Central India. Business collections were predictable to be in the range of Rs 150 to 160 million (Rs 15 to 16 crores) net, but the incompatible of the IPL matches led to lesser numbers.

In spite of mixed reviews, the film has managed a good first day box office collections. The business of the film is likely to improve on Saturday and Sunday and its collection may even touch Rs 17 to 18 crore at the Box Office.
