Bittoo Boss Flops, Housefull 2 Strong Even In Week 2, Housefull 2 Beats Bittoo Boss At Box Office

'Bittoo Boss' No fireworks at the Box-Office

Never judge a book by its cover. Similarly, the first look poster or the first trailer of an enthusiastically predictable movie may stimulate substantial inquisitiveness towards that film, but, like the saying goes, all that glitters is not gold. It was a case of unfulfilled promises in the case of Bittoo Boss.
Unlike Band Baaja Baaraat, which arrived without much hum, but consolidated its rank with each transitory day, BITTOO BOSS had decent publicity surrounding it. You might say that the success of BAND BAAJA BAARAAT is accountable for raising the bar for alike genre films, with the character essaying the fraction of a rustic North Indian and speaking in Punjabi language. However, BAND BAAJA BAARAAT had the support of a solid screenplay, which resulted in a strong utterance of mouth at the ticket casement. But BITTOO BOSS had not anything to fall back upon -- not a musical hit score, not a unified script also. Resultantly, the weekend trade was dull.
While Band Baaja Baaraat withstood a strong adversary like NO PROBLEM, which released in the same week, BITTOO BOSS got completely eclipsed by the HOUSEFULL 2 gesticulate, which opened a week earlier and which continues to be the first selection of keen moviegoers. Not just housefull 2, even titanic 3d, which released in the same week as housefull 2, grossed better numbers than bittoo boss. That says it all!
As effects stand today, BITTOO BOSS will involve losses for its investors, who, maybe, were expectant a repeat of Pyaar Ka Punchnama show at the box-office.
