Aamir Khan reveals he never wanted to be a producer; says, “Sabse zyada mehnat aapki hoti hai, risk aap le rahe ho, paise aap laga rahe ho aur sirf aap gaaliyaan kha rahe ho”

Komal Nahta is back with a new season of his podcast, "Game Changers: The Producer Series." In this season, producers share their experiences and stories about their journey in the industry.

Aamir Khan says he never wanted to be a producer.
He explains, "The most hard work is yours, you take the risk, you put in your money, and all you get is bad words."

Aamir Khan says he never wanted to be a producer.
He explains, "The most hard work is yours, you take the risk, you put in your money, and all you get is bad words."

The next guest on the series is actor Aamir Khan.
In his conversation with Komal Nahta, he shared that he never planned on becoming a producer. His father's struggles in the field once made him lose interest in it.

Aamir explained how he was happy being an actor and never wanted to become a producer.
He said, "When I saw my father's career up close when I was young, I realized I never wanted to be a producer. Because you do the most hard work, you take the risk, you put in the money, and all you get is bad words. Also, sometimes your team doesn't cooperate. My father's film took eight years to make a locket. Seeing all of that, I thought, 'Hey, we are actors now, we have a car, and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was a hit.' Why do I need to be a producer? When I make a film, money will come, and I'll be happy. Also, I don't even treat my producer like a friend, so I'm happy."

He added, "I've given interviews too.
If you read my early interviews, people used to ask me if I would ever produce. I used to say never, and I would say I will definitely do direct work. I act, and producing is not something I want to do in my life. These are my clear statements, and such clear statements should not be made."

With the podcast "Game Changers: The Producer Series," Komal Nahta brings insightful conversations with some of Indian cinema's most notable producers.
Episodes are available on the YouTube channel, "Game Changer: The Series."

Awarapan 2: Disha Patani signed opposite Emraan Hashmi in the sequel to cult love story set in gangster world

The long-awaited sequel to the 2007 romantic drama *Awarapan*, starring Emraan Hashmi and directed by Mohit Suri, was announced several years ago. While the original did not perform well at the box office upon its release, it gradually gained a cult following due to its emotional storytelling, soulful music, and Emraan Hashmi's role as Shivam Pandit. The sequel, Awarapan 2, is now in development, featuring Disha Patani as part of the main storyline, and directing by Nitin Kakkar, as reported by Pinkvilla.

A New Chapter with the Same Emotion and Romance
The source close to the project shared that the sequel retains the emotional intensity and strong character development.

The script is not only reimagining the intense romance and emotional storytelling but also expanding the story to include new characters and making the story more complex.
The emotional arc of the original has been shared with the storyteller.
Disha Patani's return in the sequel has received a positive response.

The role of Disha Patani in Awarapan 2 shows a deep emotional script and improvisation in their performances and the production quality.

The complex emotional portrayals and leading roles were a key focus in both film versions.

Music Recognition and Engagement
The score is a powerful element in both Awarapan films.
The production of music for the sequel has already begun, with the developers exploring possible rework of original music tracks. The use of emotional storytelling and characters makes the soundtrack a core part of the narration.
The story connects with both audience and Disha Patani's emotional performance.
The legacy of the first film is being carried through strong and layered narratives.
Production and Legacy
The next film (Awarapan 2) is in pre-production, with production to be launched by either September or October 2025 and production to be completed by January 2026.
The plans for the film include plans for emotional storytelling, which remain a critical part of the narrative. The film is expected to be released in 2026 during the summer.
