Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari’s next with Sooraj Barjatya goes on floors; Anupam Kher shares update from sets

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has started shooting for his new movie, which is being made under Rajshri Productions. The film features Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari as the main actors. It is a romantic family movie and began filming on November 1, 2025. This is a new project between Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.

 Actor Anupam Kher shared an update from the set.

Actor Anupam Kher, who has worked with Barjatya for a long time, posted an update on social media.

 He shared that this is his 549th film. He wrote, "ANNOUNCING MY 549th FILM:??? I am happy to share that my 549th untitled film started today with the one and only Sooraj Barjatya! I gave him the auspicious shawl that I got from #Ayodhya! Sooraj was #MaheshBhatt Saab's 5th assistant for my first film #Saaransh! It has been a long, happy, amazing and creatively joyous journey with him. Actually, I am an integral part of @rajshrifilms and their family for all these years! As is the tradition, I have the privilege to be in the first shot of the film! Jai Shri Krishna!"

In October, source reported that Rajshri Productions is teaming up once again with Mahaveer Jain Films for this project.

 This follows their successful collaboration on the film Uunchai. The upcoming movie, a romantic family entertainer starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari Wagh, started filming on November 1.

A source told , "After Uunchai (2022), Sooraj Barjatya's last film, Rajshri Productions decided to work with Mahaveer Jain Films again.

 Sooraj Barjatya and Mahaveer Jain had a great time working together on Uunchai, so they decided to team up again for this new film."

The film is being presented and produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani.

 It is expected to carry Barjatya's signature style of warmth, relationships, and emotional depth.
