Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De 2 drops by 25 percent on 3rd Friday while facing Tere Ishk Mein, nets Rs 95 lakh

De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to see a drop of 25% on its third Friday, collecting Rs. 95 lakh. The movie entered its third week in competition with Tere Ishq Mein and Gustaakh Ishq. This is the first time the movie has fallen below the Rs. 1 crore mark in its entire theatrical run so far. There was a Buy-One-Get-One offer active today, which helped reduce the drop. Without the offer, the decline would have been even greater.

The total net collection of De De Pyaar De 2 has reached Rs. 65.30 crore, with Rs. 47.75 crore coming from the first week and Rs. 16.60 crore from the second week.

Directed by Anshul Sharma, the romantic comedy drama was expected to do better, but mixed audience reviews affected its box office performance, especially after a weak start.

 The Ajay Devgn film is now losing steam at the box office. Based on current trends, it is likely to end its theatrical run around Rs. 70 crore net, with the release of Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar next Friday.

Featuring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in leading roles, along with R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Meezaan Jafri, Jaaved Jaaferi, and others, De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to end up below the earnings of its original film.

 However, it is performing better than some recent movies in the same genre. Still, this won't change its box office fate, as the damage has already been done. De De Pyaar De 2 will be Ajay Devgn's second consecutive flop this year after Son of Sardaar 2.
